The Community Council is a voluntary organisation that acts as a voice for the local area. It bridges the gap between local authorities and communities, advocates for local causes and helps to make public bodies aware of the opinions and needs of the community.
We’re all residents of Netherlee and Stamperland and as Community Councillors our role is to ascertain and express the views of our community to local authorities and other public bodies, and to take action which is in the interests of the community.
We’re always keen to hear from residents about issues which are important to you or about ways we can support you. You can contact us at nestcommunitycouncil@gmail.com or by leaving a message on 07437 490 394
Residents are also very welcome to come to the monthly Community Council meetings. Our meetings take place on the third Thursday of the month at Clarkston Halls from 7-9pm. Please email nestcommunitycouncil@gmail.com to advise if you’d like to attend.
